Nausea, insomnia, and hot flushes are some of the common side effects the world overarethroeve to rosacea, a condition rarely seen with the most common type of rosacea, known simply as rosacea. But even with the side effects, even a moderate amount of acid damage, which is a common cause of acid reflux, can cause patients to stop taking CRESTOR and regain some confidence. But there are also many other possible side effects that need to be discussed with your doctor before they are allowed to decide if CRESTOR is the right treatment for you. These can include bone disease (osteoporosis), diabetes, nerve problems, liver problems, and heart problems.

A study published in the Journal of the American College of Physicians in 2002 showed that taking CRESTOR in patients with a high-grade cancer was associated with an increased risk of breast and prostate cancer. This risk increased even higher for patients with high-grade disease. But your doctor will still be allowed to decide if CRESTOR is the best treatment option for you. This is because CRESTOR has been shown to increase the risk of developing bone disease, but the increased risk of developing diabetes and other diabetes-related problems could lead to osteoporosis. Your doctor will also likely not be allowed to approve treatment for some other health problem that may have developed after taking CRESTOR. So, while you may not be able to lose weight if you are taking CRESTOR you may lose it if you are having to take it long term.

The most common side effects of CRESTOR include:

  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Bloating
  • Lightheadedness
  • Fatigue
  • Weakness

If you experience any of these side effects or have any questions about taking CRESTOR or other medications, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Crestor Drug Interactions

Taking Crestor may cause some serious side effects. You may have an increased risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, or death.

This medicine may also have certain other effects.

Crestor works by reducing a certain enzyme within the body that produces cholesterol. It belongs to a class of medications called statins.

Cholesterol is a form of lipid, a waxy substance that helps your body make cells, vitamins, and certain hormones. It is not inherently bad. Your liver produces an enzyme that synthesizes cholesterol to help with the above healthy functions. Additional cholesterol is introduced to the body through certain foods like meat, poultry, and dairy products.

There are two types of cholesterol: high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) and low-density lipoproteins (LDLs). LDLs carry cholesterol throughout the body, delivering cholesterol to cells that need it. HDLs carry excess LDLs back to the liver, where they are broken down and flushed from the body. While LDLs play a key role in cell health, they build up when the body has more cholesterol than the cells need. This buildup turns into plaque in the arteries (blood vessels). As plaque covers the artery walls, the blood vessels become narrow. This makes it harder for blood to flow through the body, which can lead to heart disease and heart failure.

Statins work by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver, which lowers the overall cholesterol levels in the body. Not only do statins decrease levels of LDLs in the body, but they can also raise the level of HDLs in the body. In effect, they keep the body from making too much of the “bad” cholesterol that builds up in arteries while increasing the amount of “good” cholesterol that carries the “bad” out of the body. This dual action has been shown, along with diet and exercise, to lower overall cholesterol levels in patients effectively.

Crestor tabletsHow to Take Crestor

Take a tablet with a meal. Usually, the dose is once or twice a day. Take the medication as your doctor has instructed it to be taken. If you are using other strengths of medicine, your doctor may increase your dose to account for changing your diet and other medicines you are taking. Your doctor will let you know the right dosage as well as how to apply it.

Drinking plenty of water while taking this medicine is not recommended. Before taking a medicine, especially one that is taken every day, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any medicine you are taking; if you have heart problems, have a history of bleeding or blood clotting, or liver or kidney problems; or if you have had a stroke, heart attack, or blood vessel problems, such as cerebral thrombosis.

Since high blood pressure can cause the heart muscle in one of your blood vessels to become enlarged, piring a headache or stomach pain after taking a medicine can make it be worse. Tell your doctor if you have any of these conditions: kidney or liver disease, a personal or family history of blood clots, as well as: if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding if you are taking a medicine to prevent cholesterol levels in your blood. Your doctor may want to increase your dose of rosuvastatin (also known as Sustanonbac). If you have these conditions, your doctor may start you on a lower dose or lower your dose of rosuvastatin, your doctor may need to change your dose of rosuvastatin from time to time to account for any side effects you may have. However, you may need to lower your dose to get the benefits of this medicine.

Using Crestor

If you are using Crestor tablets, carefully measure each dose carefully. Take the dose as your doctor has instructed. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Swallow the tablet as a whole. Not to mention all the medications that you are taking as your doctor has instructed you to take this medicine for the best results. The amount of time this medicine takes to work varies from person to person. It is important to use this medicine as directed, by your doctor. Using this medicine for the entire duration of your medicine course may increase the chance of a missed dose but it does not increase the likelihood of getting a serious side effect. If you are not sure how to use this medicine, please speak to your doctor.

If you are using Crestor tablets, apply the cream to your affected area every 4 to 6 hours for 24 hours. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream. Do not wash your hands after using the cream. If you are using Crestor tablets, carefully read the package leaflet included in the pack to ensure that the medicine is read carefully.
